Founded in Oñate (Northern Spain) in 1944.
In 1950, the company moved its main offices and production plant to the city of Vitoria, where it remains til 2005.
During the sixties and seventies, San Ignacio did grow quickly thanks to the purchase of several companies of the sector, that made the consolidation of the company possible. In the year of 1967 started applying the well known Dupont, Teflon trademark on its articles. Mowadays, the company enjoys 8 production plants.
Recent developments
In 2005 the group wanted a change at all levels, a new strategy was taken; from the logotype till the new construction of the production plant, warehouse and office facilities. The new San Ignacio Kitchenware head quarter was born.
These changes made the development possible and new products were created. The search of new markets goes together now with the banner of quality and maximum respect for the environment.
